Seasonal Yoga – Supporting you from Summer to Winter

Logo

Seasonal Yoga changes with the Seasons, using a different emphasis on the Yoga postures as the year passes to tune you in to each Season, giving you the best possible energy for that time of year. Classical Yoga postures are used to activate the same meridians (energy lines in the body) as used in Tai Chi, Acupuncture and other Traditional Chinese Medicine practices, boosting your immune system and leaving you feeling energised, strong, flexible, balanced, calm and relaxed.

The journey from summer to winter can be one of the hardest and to support this journey Anna is offering three Sunday workshops. After the high energy and long daylight hours of Summer, it’s easy for that energy to burn out or fizzle away as we come into the cooler weather and longer nights, leaving us feeling flat, drained, sad and off-centre. Seasonal Yoga can help us draw that Summer energy back inwards, consolidating and storing it for the coming Winter, so we feel more centred, stable, grounded and prepared. The changes of the seasons are often when we are most likely to get ill, and tuning our energy into each season helps boost our immune system to keep us healthy and strong.
