Welcome to our Beautiful Studio.

Yoga Healing Glasgow is nestled in the heart of the leafy West-End of Glasgow, and is cocooned from the hustle and bustle of city life, just minutes from Kelvinhall Underground.

Our teaching style is Integral Hatha Yoga, which means we bring the best of every school together from styles you maybe familiar with, such as Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Anusara Yoga and Sivananda Yoga.

Through these influences, our purpose is the holistic well-being of our students, the building of a community, and as teachers we not only bring the most beneficial yoga classes, but we look to encompass every layer of you into the practice, so that you are holistically nourishing and feeding your body, mind and spirit.

Our classes hold 12 students, and with it being smaller classes we recommend registering with us and booking your class online. As well as yoga classes, we also offer yoga therapy with our residential yoga therapist Claire Rodgers, yoga courses and specialised workshops.

Everything you need to practice is here, including complimentary yoga mats, blocks, blankets and all other yoga equipment.

We offer different styles of classes on a weekly basis, and the times and days of these classes can be found on our Weekly Timetable and from Booking a Class.

Our offerings can be read below, bringing you more of an idea of our yoga community.

Classical Yoga

Our Classical Yoga Classes are offered as All Levels drop-in classes, and also as yo-ga courses for Absolute Beginners and Improvers. You can click here to be taken to see the dates of our next 6 Week Yoga Courses. Within the Classical Yoga Classes you will practice a variety of the different yoga postures, yet you will still have a sense that you are linking one posture to the next through breath which really supports the heartfelt, mindful and meditative aspect of the practice. You will practice standing yoga sequences, seated yoga postures, and will explore different breath-work and relaxation techniques. All Levels classes will change week from week, but our 6 Week Yoga Courses hold more structure in the tuition to help you to practice yoga more at the course level.

Restorative Yoga

Each class focuses on breath, mindfulness and slow, gentle yoga movements. We call our Restorative Yoga Classes ‘a hug in a class’ as everyone can benefit from them at anytime, no matter if you are a complete beginner or an experienced yoga student. The postures in Restorative Yoga are all about de-stressing your body and mind from tiredness, overwork, aches and pains, stress, anxieties and deprivation. Within the classes you will move through gentle, slower yoga sequences, yet will also hold longer held yin yoga postures, and be supported with bolsters and pillows. There will be soft music playing in the background throughout class, and you will be taken through different guided relaxations for complete relaxation. Our Restorative Yoga classes can be enjoyed on Mondays and Friday mornings, and also as longer sessions on certain Sundays, such as Restorative Yoga and Chakra Medi-tation and Exploring Deep Rest.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is for students who are either familiar and experienced in yoga, or who are relatively flexible and fit and enjoy a quicker paced class. Within our Vinyasa Yoga Classes you will flow from pose to pose to create heat in your body, and will follow different poses with the vinyasa sequence, which cleanses the body of toxins. Born from Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga sequences change from class to class, and some have likened it to be like a dance. Our sequences change from week to week to the backdrop of different music, and not only boost circulation, heart health and detoxification, but build strength and flexibility to body and mind. You can join our All Levels or Intermediate Level, if more experienced on a drop in basis, or by purchasing one of our Yoga Bundles.

Chakra Balancing Yoga

Chakra Balancing Yoga brings a fusion of flowing yoga postures within standing sequences, that change each week. to revitalise your body and build your strength and flexibility. Not only will you move through flowing sequences, but you will also practice different combinations of breath-work, restorative postures, relaxation and meditation to help you connect to your energy centres (the chakras) which helps to bring you more into holistic balance, alignment and harmony. Expect variety from week to week to build a well rounded yoga practice into your week. Our Chakra Balancing Yoga Class runs on a Saturday morning and are open to All Levels of yoga students, from beginners + to intermediate alike.
